When you are ready, slowly place your feet on the floor. Sit upright and steady yourself. Remain still for 20–30 seconds, making sure you feel balanced. This step is critical. Far too many injuries come from moving too quickly when the body is not yet ready. Be deliberate. Be mindful. Protect the temple God has given you.
